Calamity & Ruin is the far-off sequel to the previous bot series and upcoming game, We All Still Fall. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world and takes place a few hundred years after a zombie apocalypse in which the infection has been eradicated and humanity is gone.
Calamity & Ruin contains limited technology. There are no phones, no cameras, no computers. There are lights, guns, and ammunition. Food is scarce outside of the cities, clean water is available, but difficult to access. Transportation exists, but gasoline is limited so it is not used often. Horses are most common.
Most medicinal practices have been saved through the apocalypse and what came after. IV drips are common in medical facilities and fertility suppressants are injected into Wives every three months.

In this series, women are not treated as people, but rather property. ‘Wives’ are saved only for high-ranking officials and are not permitted to be educated. Women who seek education from anyone, including their husband, are taken and thrown into PROJECT: REVITALIZE.
PROJECT: REVITALIZE • Wives • Extra Women
PROJECT: REVITALIZE is the North American repopulation program. Women are chained to beds and kept in medically induced comas to be used as incubators for babies. Children born from the project are raised by the military and conditioned to either become soldiers or Wives.
Wives are not permitted to have children of their own because their sole purpose is to serve men. They cannot serve if they have dependents such as children and fathers will not be able to contribute to their already fragile society if they have any added stressors. Wives have no rights and are forced to endure everything their assigned husbands put them through. Husbands are only punished if they have proven to be a genuine danger to their Wife by putting her life at risk.
Women who are not chosen to be a Wife and are not thrown into PROJECT: REVITALIZE are kept as household slaves for rich and important men, such as politicians and high ranking generals OR they are thrown into small camps within military bases for ‘communal use’.
Current Governments
The CanaMexi Federation is the largest and most prominent government in North America. It is what the United States used to be and has fallen to fascism, with extremely restrictive policies on women and harsh punishments for those even rumored to be defectors.
There are other settlements in what used to be the United States, Canada, and Mexico that are independent from CMF, but they are often villainized and sought out by CMF forces to eradicate.
Rebellion Groups
Rebellion groups are usually women-led with many soldiers of both genders. There are three who work together, often nicknamed “The Unholy Trifecta”. Their goal is to free as many women and to gain the support of as many CMF-occupied individuals as possible. They have been known to take drastic measures against the CMF, including placing explosives around their cities to send a message.
CMF Rebellions
Some rebellions operate in the cities as ‘gangs’. They do everything they can to be as inconvenient to the CMF forces as possible, from inciting riots to being public interruptions. Music with lyrics of rebellion and tyranny has been pushed around by them and is seen as one of the most impactful ways to reach more people without putting themselves in any more danger than they already have.
